Outdoor / Indoor Aerial Inspection

Aerial inspections utilizing drones provide fast, cost-effective, and safe access to areas that are typically difficult or hazardous to reach, significantly mitigating health, safety, and environmental risks.
Visual inspection via an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) offers a swift and cost-efficient alternative for examining buildings and infrastructure, including facades, chimneys, bridges, and other high-level or inaccessible areas. Drone inspection eliminates the need for more traditional, time-consuming, and expensive methods like scaffolding, rope access, or sky-lifts, allowing for immediate assessment and action.
Since 2021, FlyCamHK has integrated AI and deep learning technology to significantly accelerate the overall inspection process.
Furthermore, all our inspection reports are officially signed and certified by an authorized Building Surveyor from the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).
Drone Surveillance & Thermal Images (with B-VLOS)

Our thermal inspection services utilize Thermography (or thermal imaging), which is the study of heat distribution. This technology allows for the visual detection of faults or energy losses that would otherwise remain invisible.
Employing drone thermal inspection enables safe access to hard-to-reach areas, facilitating the early identification and prevention of minor issues before they escalate into serious problems. Equipped with our High-Resolution 640x512 radiometric aerial thermal camera, we can inspect a wide scope of applications, including: assessing building insulation performance, identifying heat loss and flat roof leaks, and supporting security, search, and rescue operations.
Advanced Mapping and Data Generation (with Docking)
Our drone solutions provide real-time reconnaissance and surveillance, significantly increasing project life cycle effectiveness. By incorporating technologies such as LiDAR, photogrammetry, and geomapping, the images and videos captured by our drones are transformed into highly accurate 2D maps, 3D Mesh / Point Cloud models, and Building Information Models (BIM). With an accuracy of up to $ \pm 2 \text{cm} $, these deliverables empower architects and designers to better visualize and understand complex structures. Certified Pilot Expertise
All of our pilots are CAD approved with an Advanced Rating and are skilled in flying aerial survey drones to capture views of those "difficult-to-reach" places. Furthermore, with the new B-VLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) permit, our pilots can now operate drones from a centralized control center, effectively removing distance limitations for our operations. This allows us to fly our drones close to roofs and buildings to acquire detailed Ultra-HD 4K video footage or 45-megapixel still aerial images.

Official UAS School in Hong Kong
FlyCamHK is the 1st organization to provide drone courses in Hong Kong. Since year 2013, we have partnered with FevaWorks IT Education Center - the registered school (ED553581/ED553590) and market leader in IT Education to provide UAS aerial filming certificate courses to the public, government and commercial organizations in Hong Kong/Macau. We have over 25,000 graduated students who are now participating in many UAS projects for different industries.

They includes R/C Aircraft Pilots with over 20 years experiences and participated in many worldwide competitions (F3D/F3C), DJI Certified Support Engineer, Production Director, AOPA China Master Instructor as well as senior pilots with the EuroUSC's Basic National UAS Certificate (BNUC-S) and UAV Academy's PfCO which are the qualification recognized by ICAO and Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD).

Advanced Operations Permission (AOP)
FlyCamHK was one of the first companies in Hong Kong to receive the new Advanced Operations Permission (AOP) from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) following the enforcement of the new Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) Order (Cap. 449G) on June 1, 2022.
HKCAD SUA Permit Expertise
We have successfully processed over 120 Charter Permit applications for Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operations from the HKCAD. Additionally, our certified trainers provide qualified SUA courses and certificates to government departments, commercial organizations, and private groups, and we assist these entities with their own HKCAD SUA permit applications. We have also provided comprehensive drone training to numerous schools, universities, companies, and NGOs.
Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) Regulatory Sandbox: B-VLOS + Docking Operations
FlyCamHK, in collaboration with the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, participated in the first batch of the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) Sandbox pilot project. As a result of this pioneering work, we were the first company to be awarded the permit for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (B-VLOS) SUA operations in May 2025.

School Training Courses
We provided specially designed drone training courses for many schools and universities in the last few years. The course usually includes indoor and outdoor classes, 4-6 students in a group with the topics of drones introduction, safety, application, regulations, flight practices, aerial filming skills, etc.
